Daniel ~ New Kit
I finally have my latest kit, Daniel in my store at GDS. Daniel is named after my 10 year old son & is inspired by some of his favorite things. Bright new denim and buttery soft leather from his closet and soft beige, cream and chambray blue from his shirt drawer combine with dark reds and greens picked from his room décor. Of course, being the active boy that he is, some of them have become a bit crumpled and frayed. Here is a preview of the complete Daniel Page Kit:

Here is a detailed view of some of the elements included:

Here is a preview of the stitched alpha:

There are 18 papers, over 50 elements and a complete alpha, all created at 300 dpi for print quality. You may purchase the alpha, elements or papers individually, or you may purchase the complete Page Kit. You save over 33% of the price of the individual paper, element and alpha packs by buying the complete Page Kit. As an added bonus, you also receive an additional set of 15 stitched leather tags.

I hope you enjoy using Daniel for your pages as much as I enjoyed creating it. Thanks for looking!

Here is the layout I created using this template. After a hard day working in the garden, you need a cool drink :)

Journaling reads: You thought it was cute to teach the miniature horses to drink pop out of a can. Precious & Little Man loved the idea. The only problem is that now we can't set a can of pop down if they are around cause they drink it!

I hope you can find time to participate in this challenge.

Happy Easter!
Happy Easter! It was a quiet day with family for me, nice and relaxed. It was a bit chilly for egg hunting today though, so we made it short and promised a repeat next weekend if it is warmer. That, and the bribes of chocolate, seemed to make the kiddos happy. We also spent some time this evening just chatting about our faith and why Easter is special for us. I hope all of you have enjoyed your Easter Sunday!

New Templates & A Couple of New Alphas
I have some new products in my store at GDS. I just added Layered Templates Set 2 and it is priced with an introductory discount of 25% until April 7, 2007. This collection features patchwork backgrounds and layered flower overlays for your spring & summer layouts. The beauty of layered templates is that you can omit the flowers & add different embellishments and use them for practically any layout you choose. Here is a preview:

The layouts in the preview were created by ckbymommy, griest, Leslie Emery and myself using Briar Rose, Claribel and Forever in Blue Jeans Page Kits and papers from the GDS Anniversary Collaboration Kit, all created by me.

I also recently added two new gel alphas to the store. Add a shining star to your favorite page with Royal Stars Alpha. Rich, royal blue gel and distressed pewter edging combine to make this special star alpha.

Crimson Hearts Alpha combines rich crimson gel with distressed pewter edging. Lovingly created to adorn your pages with a special touch.

I'm Out of Here....
No, not me - just quoting my son. I am blessed with children who have a sense of humor and can be quite the little pranksters at times. Here is a layout I recently finished for the Quickpage Exchange at GDS that showcases some of their antics:

Click for larger view

Journaling reads: Sometimes you like to act silly. I'm still not sure what you said to your brother. One minute you were smiling sweetly & the next he was racing away saying "I'm out of here!"

Credits: Pretty Katie by Rebecca Gold, Sweet Swirls Set 1 by me. Font: angelina.

If you've never participated in a quickpage exchange, drop by the forums at GDS & check it out. It's a great way to receive a complete album in exchange for creating one quickpage. We just finished one using the Sweet Katie by Rebecca Gold & another will be posted soon. I have been working on some new creations & hope to have them in the store soon. I'll keep you posted :)
