To celebrate the release of my latest kit Daniel, I am giving away a coordinating alpha. This is not the alpha included in the Daniel Page Kit. I hope you enjoy it! Here is a preview:

If you have boys' photos to scrap, I think you'll like my Daily Download at GDS today. Playing In The Dirt Papers are inspired by our clay soil and my son who loves to play in the dirt. Here is a preview (Click for a larger view):

Thanks for looking & I hope you enjoy the dirty papers!

It's another hectic Monday here for me, as I'm sure it is for a lot of you. And it also means that it's my day for the Daily Download at GDS. Here is a peek at what I created for you this time:

I love playing with brushes & it fascinates me to start with a blank page and end up with a pretty paper. I hope you enjoy these papers as much as I enjoyed creating them.

Today is also the last day to get your quickpage submitted for the first Quickpage Exchange. And don't forget Sketch Challenge #9 which ends this Friday, March 23rd. Here is a preview of the layered template we are working with this challenge:

Here is my layout using this layered template. I am using this template to create a page for each of the kids by year. I think it will be fun for them to look back at the changes from year to year.

That wraps up my chaotic Monday post. Hope you all enjoy a great week!

Congratulations to babyofmine for winning the grand prize of Photoshop Elements 5 at goDigitalScrapbooking in our Anniversary Celebration. Congratulations to all the other winners in the games & festivities as well and a big thank you to all of you who participated. You made it a fun day! Here is a little freebie that coordinates with the GDS Anniversary Collaboration Kit. Click the image for a larger view:

Sketch Challenge #8 is open until March 9th and I'd love to see your layouts using my free template. Also, look for a new challenge and some new elements and alphas at GDS in the next few days.

ckbymommy at GDS found this tutorial for curling ribbons. No plugins are required :) I had to play with it this evening before going to bed & here are my results:

Download the bonus ribbons here.
Background paper not included.

The curled ribbons coordinate with my Dreaming in Blue kit, available in my store at GDS. You can find the Curled Ribbon and Bows tutorial here. This is a good tutorial for those who don't have the commercial plugins to make curled ribbon. It is written for PS, but should be able to be applied to other programs that have a warp brush or deform tool available.

Monday's are my day to host the Daily Download at GDS & today I have a new layered template for you. This is a sample of an new set of layered templates I am working on. I hope you enjoy it! Here is a preview:

Here is a layout I did using this template. When we bought our boat last summer, we took it to a river near the house to try it out. Our youngest dd is a bit stubborn at times & just wouldn't heed mom's advice. Talk about a bad hair day!

Today's Daily Download at GDS is an Add-On to my Forever in Blue Jeans Pagekit. Remember, the daily download is only available for one day. Here is a preview of the add-on:

I have several new designs in progress. Some more alphas, some template packs and a couple of pagekits. I hope to find time to put up some more blog freebies as well. In the meantime, you'll have to settle for my daily download each Monday at GDS. Well, that's it for now. It's time for me to be teacher for a few hours.
